8th Grade Science
Students in 8th grade science can be expected to expand their laboratory experiences to using instruments such as telescopes, computers and other technologies typically found in lab settings. Areas of study for 8th grade science students include: · astronomy · · biology · · chemistry · · physics Further, students are expected to understand that science has a particular method for carrying out investigations, understanding how new conclusions are reached through the scientific method and that problems investigated using this method may or may not answer the original questions asked - in other words, science may not hold all of the answers to questions that we ask.
