Physics

 

 

Students enrolled in the 10th grade at Axtell High School are typically enrolled in physics.  Through continued lab experiences and emphasis on interactions between matter and energy, students will focus on the following:

 

· Newton's laws of motion

·  

· changes within physical systems and conservation of energy and momentum

·  

· force and motion

·  

· thermodynamics

·  

· characteristics and behavior of waves, and

·  

· quantum physics
