Axtell Independent School District Technology Plan
Axtell ISD will continue to seek and utilize technology as a resource to increase student achievement and teacher/staff effectiveness. In an effort to establish an infrastructure of technical and human resources, Axtell ISD shall maintain expertise for installing and supporting technology.
The district will:
Continue to contract with CTEN for technology support
Allocate time, funds and trainers for implementation of staff development plans
Conduct yearly assessments of equity and utilization of technology resources by students and staff and provide additional resources as needed
Update instructional technology labs with hardware and software
Attempt to acquire “cutting edge” technology for student and faculty use
Provide community access to technologies and technology training available at Axtell ISD.
