Career and Technical Education- Graphic Design & Media Arts Teacher

Primary Purpose

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the Graphic Design & Media Arts Program of Study.

Education/Certification

Bachelor’s degree

Valid Texas Teaching Certification, or enrolled in a program to obtain certification

Career and Technical education certification, willing to be certified in CTE

Demonstrated competency in Adobe, Google, Microsoft, A/V equipment, Animation, and other applications required for the Program of Study

General knowledge of curriculum and instruction; lesson creation and lesson cycle

Experience

Minimum of student teaching, approved internship, or two-years of industry experience

This position is eligible for the Texas Incentive Allotment.
