Axtell ISD will continue to seek and utilize technology as a resource to increase student achievement and teacher/staff effectiveness. In an effort to establish an infrastructure of technical and human resources, Axtell ISD shall maintain expertise for installing and supporting technology.

The district will:

• Allocate time, funds, and trainers for the implementation of staff development plans.
• Conduct yearly assessments of equity and utilization of technology resources by students and staff and provide additional resources as needed.
• Update instructional technology labs with hardware and software
• Attempt to acquire “cutting-edge” technology for student and faculty use
• Provide community access to technology training and resources available at Axtell ISD.
